ON JUNE 6-7, 2019 THE POLISH DELEGATION HAS VISITED THE REPUBLIC OF BELARUS

On June 7, 2019, in the framework of the XXII Belarusian-Polish Economic Forum “Good Neighborliness 2019”, the co-chairman of the Joint Belarusian-Polish Economic Cooperation Commission, the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus Vladimir Koltovich has met with the Deputy Minister of Business and Technology Tadeusz Kostinski and First Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Tadeush Ramanchuk.

During the meeting, the parties have discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the trade and investment spheres, in the field of agriculture, transport, tourism, and finance.

Separately, a record bilateral trade turnover was noted, which in 2018 exceeded 2.5 billion dollars for the first time.

According to the results of the meeting, the need for further development of the Belarusian-Polish relations in all spheres, primarily in the trade and economic sphere, as well as confidence building between the parties, was stressed.

In addition, during the visit to the Republic of Belarus, the delegation of the Republic of Poland has visited the 29th international specialized exhibition Belagro-2019 and has held talks with the leadership of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.
