An online meeting with the President of the Hungarian Competition Authority C.B.Rigo was held
Today the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of Belarus Vladimir Koltovich met by videoconference with the President of the Hungarian Competition Authority Csaba Balázs Rigó with the participation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Hungary Alexander Ponomarev and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Hungary to Belarus Zsolt Csutora.
During the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues of interdepartmental cooperation:
- on the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of competition policy between the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus (MART) and the Hungarian Competition Authority (GVH);
- on holding one of the events of the OECD-GVH regional office in Minsk in 2021-2022.
As a result of the meeting, the parties agreed on the final version of the Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of competition policy between MART and GVH, decided to sign it during one of the planned high-level international events, as well as to send an application for holding one of the events of the OECD-GVH regional office in Minsk in 2022.
