Cooperation with the Austrian Federal Competition Authority
The Memorandum of cooperation in the field of competition policy between the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus and the Austrian Federal Competition Authority was signed on November 13, 2019 within the framework of the International Conference "Development of Competition in Industry Markets: Theoretical and Practical Aspects" (November 13 – 14, 2019, Minsk).
The Memorandum allows to exchange non-confidential information related to competition policy issues, as well as changes in antimonopoly law, experience and opinions on multilateral issues in the field of antimonopoly law; to study law enforcement practices in dealing with cartel agreements and other violations of antimonopoly law.
Cooperation between the parties is also carried out through participation and holding of joint conferences, seminars, trainings and other events in order to improve the skills of employees.
