During the 48th Meeting of the Interstate Council for Antimonopoly Policy, which was held on May 30, 2018 in Minsk, Vladimir Koltovich, the Minister of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade of the Republic of Belarus, and Viorica Cărare, the President of the Competition Council of the Republic of Moldova, signed the Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of Competition Policy.

The Memorandum is aimed at the development and strengthening of cooperation between the Parties in the field of competition policy and antimonopoly law.

This aim will be achieved through the exchange of non-confidential information in the field of competition policy, experience in considering violations of the antimonopoly law, in the field of competition advocacy, as well as in the field of cooperation with antimonopoly (competition) agencies of other countries and state authorities, as well as through the exchange of opinions on international cooperation.
